The project is located in the northwestern part of the South Asian subcontinent. The construction scope includes seawater intake facilities, a Seawater Desalination workshop, a mineralization system, a desalinated water supply system, and an automatic control system. The treated water is designed to meet the applicable national drinking water quality standards.
The treated water complies with China's Standard for Drinking Water Quality (GB 5749-2016).
